Better late than never...

I know it's a little late but here are a few cute pics from Halloween. We had the cutest duck ever if I do say so myself! Grey LOVES ducks so it was the perfect costume :) I think next year Grey will be a pro at trick-or-treating, this year he just had fun following around his cousins.

He's ready to go!

I had to get a shot of his tail feathers! So cute!

He was more interested in playing in the gravel on the road, I'm sure next year will be different!

We ran into our friends that live in our neighborhood. Chloe was the cutest pirate!!

Kalli and Kaiden checking out all their goodies. Kalli was Tinkerbell and Kaiden was Frankenstein! Cute and scary!

For some reason we didn't get a pic of all the kids together. Maybe next year!

Watch Out!

Grey figured out how to ride on the battery-operated four wheeler, thankfully he knows how to hold on too! It doesn't move very fast, especially in the grass, but he sure has fun riding on it!

So yes, not only does he look like his daddy but he already shares the same hobbies. I swear he's my child too!

Birthday Boy!!!

Today is Greyson's first birthday!! It's SO hard to believe that it's been a year already. In honor of his birthday here are some pics from the past year (I'm not on my laptop so these are all from my phone). Love you baby boy!!

It's been one of the best years of my life! It's a tough job, but I'm so grateful to be a mother!

It's Official! Grey is Walking!

It happened last night (June 25th) for sure! (He took 1 step for me last week but he hasn't done it again until last night) I was watching tv while Aaron and Grey were playing and Grey took his first few steps to Aaron :) I got the video camera out and Aaron set it up to record while he and I coaxed Grey to walk to/from us. Sure enough, Grey took 7 steps for the camera!! My little boy is growing up :( It was a very exciting night and a sad one too...he's just growing so fast, he'll be 10 months next week! I love him SO much and can't imagine my life without him though.

Also, Grey can now say a few words:
Ma-ma
Da-da
Hi (which is more like "Hiiiiiiiii" but he says it and waves sometimes, so cute!)
Buh-bye (every now and then he'll say it when he's waving, it's probably just babble but it sounds like "buh-bye")

Greyson's 1st Motorcross Race

A few months ago Aaron's boss John and his lil family came to town for the New Orleans Motorcross race. John and Lisa have a little boy just a few months younger than Grey named Anthony and he is SO adorable! He had the cutest little faux-hawk! Needless to say, this was a momentous occasion for all of us since it was the boys' first motorcross race :) I was a little worried because we had a loooong day planned, but both babies did great! We left Denham around 10am and headed to New Orleans. Then we went to lunch at Drago's with some reps. Aaron works with. If you ever go to Drago's you MUST order the charbroiled oysters, they were SO good! After lunch we had some time to kill before the races started but it was raining so we just decided to go watch the riders practice. Then the races started at 7pm-surprisingly we stayed for all the races and didn't get home til after midnight! I told ya it was a long day, but we had a lot of fun.

Here are the boys' with their proud daddys.

John and Anthony & Aaron and Grey (notice how no one is looking in the same direction...lol)
Aaron got Grey the cutest little motorcross onesie so he had to wear it at the race!

Grey thought the race was a real nail biter!

This was the only picture of me at the race for some reason, but it's proof that I went!

Half Lizard-Half Boy

So lately Grey has been sticking his tongue out nonstop! It sure makes for a cute pic though! He's teething so I'm thinking that's the reason why. He's got his two, front bottom teeth and is working on one of his front top. I'll have to get a picture of him smiling but it's been hard with that tongue in the way!

It's a bird! It's a plane! No, wait it WAS a bird!!

Last night my Aunt Michelle came over to do some family history research with me, we both were not familiar with the website and the process so we went to the Family History Library together to get the run down and start building our family tree. Well afterwards we decided to get some dessert at Chili's and visit Robin at work, which was fun :) FYI-My headlights were really bad so Aaron, being the good hubby that he is, ordered me new ones and installed them for me the night before. On our way home after Chili's out of the corner of my eye I saw something BIG flying towards us and then BAM, it hit my car on the frame between the windshield and the driver's side window! I was so freaked out and didn't know what I hit at first because it was dark, but I soon put everything together and realized a bird flew into my car. That was the first animal I hit and killed :( (Hopefully it'll be the last!) It was a good thing that Aaron replaced my headlights because they were reeeeally bad, I probably would have thought I hit a person if they hadn't been replaced! So sadly a bird lost it's life last night, I'm pretty sure it was an owl too. I'll be holding a memorial service tonight for all those who wish to attend.
